Dear Diary,

I've spent the last few days trying to get SOAP, a Google Search API, to work. Unfortunately SOAP is deprecated and has not been worked on for nearly 5 years.

In the mean time, Darcy has filled out an application with Google. This application would allow us to automate Google searches much easier.

While we wait to hear from that I am going to continue playing around with SOAP in hopes that I can get it to work. If not I plan on using a slightly different method to search Google.

This method is not the best way but it will at least allow me to start determining how long my search strings need to be to get accurate results.
